Job summary

Motorola Solutions’ Silvus Technologies in Irvine, CA is seeking a Senior System Integration and Test Engineer to drive system integration, testing, and solutions for cutting-edge radio and mesh-network products. You will collaborate with design, sales, and product teams and support demonstrations and field tests.

Requirements include a 5+ year embedded firmware background (C/C++, Python), embedded Linux, scripting, and travel up to 25%. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other relevant fields plus a minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience, specifically in embedded firmware development and testing, scripting, embedded Linux, C/C++, and python; OR a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience with an advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science.

Responsibilities

• Design and test complete solutions using Silvus HW and SW products that solve unique, technical problems.
• Prepare integration test plans and execute them, including embedded firmware/hardware and product-level testing.
• Define new products and features and perform product evaluations and field tests.
