Motorola Solutions is seeking an Intern – Embedded Software, System, and Test Engineer for our Irvine team. You will learn and assist with embedded software development, debugging, and testing for MIMO MANET radios, with a fully onsite schedule in Irvine.

The role invites you to work under the Senior Engineering Director, gaining hands-on experience while contributing to critical safety technology projects and interacting with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• In-progress degree in a technical field (EE/CE/CS).
• Ability to work independently with instruction and feedback.
• Proficiency with PC office applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to government contracts.
• Background check and drug testing are required.

Responsibilities

• Embedded firmware development, implementation and debugging for Silvus radios.
• Develop firmware testing environments and scripts.
