Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Systems Engineer – RF Engineer to join the Apertures and RF Team in Aurora, CO. The role focuses on analysis, design, testing, and fielding of RF hardware across the product lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has RF communications experience, an engineering background, and the ability to travel up to 25% to CONUS/OCONUS locations. This on-site position offers the opportunity to work with multidisciplinary teams on DoD programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience using MATLAB, Ansys HFSS, Python, and Microsoft Office for analysis.
• Experience troubleshooting electronic systems in lab or professional settings.
• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance required before start.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of analysis, integration, verification, and troubleshooting test activities in lab and field environments.
• Support program activities at CONUS and OCONUS locations.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and perform root-cause analysis with advanced lab and field test equipment.
• Prepare and present engineering results through reports and briefings to stakeholders.
• Support testing and troubleshooting of hardware systems and minor design changes.
• Maintain engineering specifications, schematics, and assembly drawings.
• Maintain and manage engineering databases.
• Participate in team meetings and technical working groups.
