Job summary

Inversion, based in Playa Vista, CA, is seeking an RF Systems Engineer to join our mission of turning space into a logistics platform. You will own the development, integration, and verification of flight and ground RF/Telemetry systems for our reentry vehicles, guiding prototypes from analysis through lab testing to mission-readiness.

Collaborate with software, guidance and control, power, and mechanical teams to optimize antenna placement, validate link budgets, and support regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years in aerospace/defense with RF hardware deployment.
• Experience analyzing RF link budgets under dynamic flight profiles.
• Proficiency with RF testing equipment and lab automation.
• Strong communication for multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain RF/Telemetry system hardware.
• Lead testing and validation for flight and ground systems.
• Model antenna radiation patterns and link budgets.
• Collaborate with software, GNC, power, and mechanical teams.
• Prepare regulatory documentation (FCC/ITU/NTIA).
