Job summary

Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies is seeking a Senior Staff RF Systems Engineer to anchor our wireless ecosystem (5G/Cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, UWB, GNSS, V2X) across the full radio-centric ECU lifecycle. This hands-on IC ladder role requires design, simulation, and homologation strategy ownership to certify products globally.

You will bridge silicon-level design, board-level implementation, and regulatory launches, addressing architecture, link budget, and certification challenges.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering, RF/Communications, or related field with 10+ years of RF design, test, and certification experience (MS with 8+, PhD with 5+).
• Demonstrated track record shipping high‑volume wireless and automotive RF products through full design, development, and certification cycles.
• Strong RF engineering, system design, and board/circuit design skills with cascaded device analysis and link budget knowledge.
