Job summary

Qorvo in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Systems Engineer to develop, model, and analyze advanced RF communication systems for mobile and connected applications. You will translate customer use cases into system architectures and actionable requirements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate tradeoffs, influence RF architectures, and contribute to 5G Advanced and emerging 6G concepts while ensuring robust, manufacturable front-end solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics or related field required.
5+ years of relevant work experience; advanced degree may offset experience.
Experience with RF communication systems, modeling, simulation, analysis, or design.
Understanding of RF transmit/receive architectures and performance parameters.
Experience with RF tools such as MATLAB, SystemVue, ADS, VSS or equivalents.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Develop RF system models, simulations, and level plans for transmit/receive chains.
Translate requirements into component-level and functional-block specs.
Analyze end-to-end system performance including power, efficiency, noise, and dynamic range.
Use modeling tools to evaluate RF components in cellular and connected-device architectures.
Perform tradeoff analyses across performance, size, power, cost, and risk.
Collaborate with Systems Architects on advanced technologies (5G/6G) and RF front-end integration.
Guide system-level integration of RF blocks into complete modules.
Support reviews, documentation, and system-level decision-making.
