Job summary

Qorvo, Inc. is seeking an Module Integrator Intern in San Jose, CA, to work on advanced RF front-end modules for 5G NR and 6G smartphone applications.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate high-performance hardware into a single, optimized multi-chip module. The role favors candidates pursuing a Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering with strong RF design knowledge, hands-on simulation experience (ADS/HFSS), and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Coursework and/or experience in RF and analog circuit design.
• Strong understanding of impedance matching using Smith charts and RF/microwave parameters.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design of RF front-end modules (RF-FEM), including PAs, SOI dies, filter dies, and SMDs.
• Build HFSS EM models of RF-FEMs to optimize performance and minimize shielding effects.
• Conduct full module simulations (FMS) across states to identify issues and improve margins.
• Collaborate with team to contribute schematics, simulations, and lab data.
