Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation seeks a Senior RF Spectrum Engineer to advance spectrum management across DoD, civil, and commercial missions. The role includes interference analysis, regulatory guidance, and cross‑agency coordination at multiple sites.

You will help shape spectrum strategies and support certification efforts. Ideal candidates bring 8+ years (Senior: 12+) of RF experience, TS/SCI eligibility, and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM field.
• 8+ years of relevant technical experience for Engineering Specialist; 12+ years for Senior Engineering Specialist.
• Knowledge of ITU, NTIA or FCC spectrum management processes.
• Knowledge of RF communications systems and architectures.
• Ability to lead small engineering teams and present results effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform RF interference analysis and modeling of communications systems to evaluate spectrum sharing and avoid harmful interference.
• Guide program design decisions and ensure regulatory compliance using RF knowledge.
• Support programs through spectrum registration and coordination processes.
• Coordinate with program offices, federal spectrum agencies, and other stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers in spectrum management and engineering.
