Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc. Mission Technologies seeks an experienced RF engineer and electromagnetic spectrum professional to support AFLCMC Fighters/Bombers at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH, under the IAC MAC.

You will deliver spectrum engineering, test management, technical analyses, and acquisition support for B-52 modernization and sustainment across airborne/ground systems. The role requires a hybrid schedule with at least three on-site days weekly, DoW spectrum coordination, and travel

Formación

• Minimum 9 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s; 7 with a Master’s; 4 with PhD/JD; or 13 years with HS Diploma.
• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• DoW spectrum-management experience incl. ESC, RF assignments, SSRA, interference analysis.
• Knowledge of NTIA regulations, ITU Radio Regulations, FCC requirements; spectrum analysis tools.
• Experience with RF testing and EMC/EMI/E3 testing on airborne/ground systems and relevant MIL standards.

Responsabilidades

• Lead DoW electromagnetic spectrum management and spectrum supportability across development, integration, testing, fielding, and sustainment.
• Manage Equipment Spectrum Certification and develop RF assignment requests for development, test, training and ops.
• Apply NTIA/ITU/FCC spectrum rules and DoW processes to spectrum-dependent systems.
• Conduct RF spectrum, interference analysis using Spectrum XXI and EL-CID Online tools.
• Develop SSRAs addressing regulatory, technical, operational, EMC/EMI and E3 risks and mitigations.
• Plan and evaluate RF, EMC/EMI, E3 lab, ground, and platform testing per MIL-STD-461/464.
• Assess electromagnetic hazards and effects (HERP/HERO/HEMP) and mitigation options.
• Develop test strategies, procedures, analyses, and post-test reports with corrective actions.
• Lead technical discussions with program managers and senior leaders; provide defensible recommendations.
• Provide technical leadership for complex RF/spectrum/E3 efforts and advise government customers.
