Job summary

Phased n Research, LLC is seeking a senior RF/Radar Engineer to provide radar engineering expertise supporting the production of threat-system parametrics for U.S. Air Force intelligence and mission-planning applications.

The role involves advanced radar analysis, physics-based modeling, and AI-assisted analytic workflows. You will work with radar engineers, analysts, and software developers to translate radar tradecraft into repeatable workflows, with emphasis on engineering method development,

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering or related field.
8+ years of relevant experience in radar engineering or radar-system analysis.
Strong proficiency with MATLAB and Python for engineering analysis.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced radar engineering analysis to characterize foreign radar systems.
Develop physics-based models and engineering algorithms for threat parametrics.
Create MATLAB/Python tools for radar performance and waveform analysis.
Document assumptions, uncertainties, and source provenance.
Review and adjudicate complex radar assessments with senior staff.
Collaborate with intelligence analysts and software developers to integrate workflows.
