Job summary

Qorvo, Inc. in Richardson, TX, is seeking a Senior Applications Engineer to support RF GaN and GaAs biasing ICs used in radar, SATCOM, and high‑performance systems.

You will help customers integrate bias controllers into designs and develop evaluation platforms. Responsibilities include designing evaluation boards, creating datasheets and collateral, and collaborating with design, validation and product teams to shape future devices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of analog/mixed-signal IC and power-supply design experience.
• Strong lab skills for testing, characterizing, and debugging analog circuits.
• Familiarity with I2C/SPI interfaces, Python test automation, and PCB design tools.
• Soldering and PCB rework skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design evaluation boards for GaN/GaAs bias controllers and power solutions.
• Own and drive creation of technical documentation such as datasheets, evaluation results, customer presentations, and other technical collateral.
• Collaborate closely with design, validation, and product line teams to influence future product development
• Support system-level applications including gate/drain sequencing, pulsed bias control, and telemetry
• Work directly with customers and field teams to provide design-in and debug support
