Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering required; MS preferred with RF/Microwave focus.
• Minimum 5 years in RF/Microwave as Applications or Design Engineer.
• Experience with GaN and GaAs RF/Microwave semiconductors for discrete and MMIC power amplifiers, LNA, phase shifters, limiters, converters, switches, and filters.
• Proficient with spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers, oscilloscopes.
• Experience with ADS or MWO CAD for linear/nonlinear simulations.
• Strong communication and customer collaboration skills.
• Willing to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for RF and Microwave products across multiple applications.
• Contribute to applications engineering for radar, EW, communications, and space.
• Collaborate with customers and Sales/Marketing to grow Qorvo’s Defense and Aerospace business.
• Determine and evaluate customer requirements and recommend the right solutions including design-in support.
• Troubleshoot customers’ system implementations of Qorvo products.
• Create and maintain product datasheets, application notes, eval boards, and training material.
• Coordinate with product line managers to meet customer requirements with new product introductions.
• Support competitive technical analysis and benchmarking.
