Job summary

Qorvo is seeking an experienced RF Design Engineer to join the Apopka, FL Design Center as Principal Design Engineer - RF Modules. You will own RF module designs from concept through production release, supporting cellular base stations, GPS, radar and satellite applications.

Preference for GaAs HBT and/or PHEMT RFIC design experience; collaborate with PMs, test engineers and customers to meet performance, schedule and cost goals for NPIs and prototypes.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Physics with RF focus and 2+ years RF module design experience.
• Experience driving RF module design from concept to production release.
• Strong collaboration with project managers, test engineers, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Technical ownership of RF module design and development from inception to production release.
• Circuit-level design of RF sub-systems and EM simulations.
• Lead design reviews and prepare technical proposals for customers.
• Coordinate with test engineering to characterize prototypes and optimize performance, yield and cost.
