AeroVironment, Inc. seeks Systems Engineers to work on onsite roles in Albuquerque, NM or Germantown, MD. You will support development, integration, verification, and deployment of aerospace, RF, laser, and electro‑mechanical systems across product lifecycles.

Responsibilities include requirements development, system architecture, verification planning, risk management, and technical reviews, with opportunities for mentorship and leadership depending on experience.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, an engineering discipline, physics, or a related technical field.
• Relevant experience in systems engineering, requirements development and management, system integration, verification, validation, or test.
• Working knowledge of systems engineering lifecycle processes, requirements traceability, and verification methodologies.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop requirements, test plans, verification methods, and technical documentation.
• Experience analyzing technical data, resolving system-level issues, and communicating clear conclusions and recommendations.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain DoD clearance if required.

Responsabilidades

• Capture and manage customer, system, subsystem, and product requirements using requirements-management tools.
• Translate customer needs into verifiable technical requirements with other engineers.
• Develop and maintain requirements traceability and interface docs.
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines to develop architectures and interfaces.
• Develop verification and validation strategies, plans, and methods.
• Support system integration, testing, and acceptance activities.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship where needed.
• Support continuous improvement of AV’s systems engineering processes.
