Job summary

NXP Semiconductors in California is hiring a senior test engineer to develop and optimize production, qualification and characterization test programs for WLAN, Bluetooth, and UWB SOC devices using ATE equipment. You will design, develop and release tests, debug yield and performance issues, and contribute to DFT innovations.

The role requires a strong programming background (C++, Java, Visual Basic), expertise in RF/mmWave testing, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Masters or Bachelor of Science degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of experience.
• Strong communication and problem solving skills.
• Self-driven, able to take ownership and initiative of all project aspects while working independently and with the entire team.
• Strong programming background (C++, Java , Visual Basic).
• RF and mmWave testing experience a big plus.
• Fluent in English.

The base salary range for this position is as mentioned below per year. We also provide competitive benefits, incentive compensation, and/or equity for certain roles.

Please note that the base salary range (OR hourly rate) is a guideline, and individual total compensation may vary based on a number of factors such as qualifications, skill level, work location, and other business and organizational needs. This base pay range is specific to California and is not applicable to other locations. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range as of the date of this posting is: $186,200 to $256,100 annually
