Job summary

EVONA in East Brunswick, NJ is seeking a Senior Engineering Technician to support new RF product development through prototype testing, circuit troubleshooting, and test fixture development. This role offers hands-on work to apply practical RF skills and expand experience with amplifier testing and microwave tuning.

Qualifications

• At least three years of relevant hands-on RF or electronics testing experience.
• Practical experience using RF test equipment and interpreting measurements.
• Ability to troubleshoot electronic circuits and communicate findings clearly.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or product development environment.
• Ability to follow technical procedures, maintain accurate records, and manage competing priorities.
• An associate degree in electronics, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field—or strong equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Test RF amplifiers and prototype hardware against engineering requirements.
• Use RF test equipment to measure performance.
• Interpret results, investigate failures, and suggest circuit changes.
• Build, test, and evaluate prototype circuits and fixtures.
• Support microwave tuning and transistor characterization.
• Record measurements and maintain test documentation.
• Develop repeatable test methods meeting quality requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, assembly, and production to meet schedules.
