Job summary

EVONA in East Brunswick, NJ is hiring an Engineering Manager for RF Product Development. The role leads a 4–5 person team, guiding projects from requirements through design reviews, testing, and production readiness with minimal hands-on bench work.

Candidates should have 7–8 years of RF hardware experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering. Onsite work in East Brunswick, ITAR eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• 7–8 years of RF hardware experience, including amplifiers, radios, microwave products, or related RF modules.
• Understanding of hardware development, verification testing, and manufacturing.
• Experience leading a small engineering team or projects with junior engineers.
• Ability to provide technical guidance and resolve development challenges.
• Strong communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Onsite work in East Brunswick, NJ and ITAR compliance (U.S. person eligibility).

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities, priorities, workloads, and schedules for the product development team.
• Oversee RF amplifier and RF hardware projects from requirements through verification and production planning.
• Review technical information and guide design and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate engineering, testing, quality, assembly, and production to resolve issues and maintain delivery schedules.
• Support customer requirements, proposals, Statements of Work, and contractor specifications.
• Oversee documentation for design reviews.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and delivery expectations to stakeholders.
• Mentor team members, set performance goals, and support hiring and onboarding.
• Improve engineering processes and product development practices.
