Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior Principal Engineer to test and troubleshoot RF hardware, including LRU and CCA assemblies, across RF to digitals. The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering, strong problem solving, and ability to obtain a Government Secret clearance.

The candidate will support performance testing, requirements verification, and data-driven threshold adjustments, using MATLAB, Python, and RF lab test equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline with relevant RF testing experience.
• Active U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Government Secret clearance.
• Experience troubleshooting RF hardware/subsystems and test environments.
• Strong problem solving skills for RF/Microwave design and test challenges.

Responsibilities

• Test and troubleshoot Line Replacement Module (LRU) and Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA) in RF architecture.
• Support performance testing, requirements verification, and data-driven threshold adjustments.
• Lead or contribute to subsystem analysis from RF to digitals, using MATLAB/Python tools.
• Utilize RF test sets (CRFTS, LM-STAR, Hiller, Phase Noise) and lab equipment.
• Collaborate on test software development and hardware control scripts.
