Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal RF / Antenna Test Electronics Engineer 3 in its Mission Systems Sector Test Engineering team in Baltimore. This 1st shift role focuses on antenna test equipment design, RF testing, and software automation to improve phased array testing and data analysis.

You will work with design engineers, troubleshoot RF issues, and support technicians while managing cost, schedule, and quality. DoD secret clearance is required to start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related STEM with additional years experience.
• Master’s degree can substitute for years of experience.
• Secret DoD clearance or ability to obtain required.

Responsibilities

• Design antenna test equipment for factory phased array testing.
• Integrate new equipment and programs in a state-of-the-art facility.
• Develop test software and automate data analysis.
• Troubleshoot RF issues during testing of advanced antennas.
• Support technicians with troubleshooting and training.
• Collaborate with design engineering for hardware/test improvements.
