Job summary

Northrop Grumman's Mission Systems Sector seeks a Principal RF / Antenna Test Electronics Engineer 3 to join its Test Engineering Team on the 1st shift. You will design antenna test equipment, integrate new systems, and develop test software for phased array programs.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related STEM with 5+ years of relevant RF/test experience.
• Experience with RF test equipment (oscilloscopes, meters, spectrum analyzers).
• Proficient software development in C#, Visual Basic, MATLAB.
• Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain SAP clearance.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design antenna test equipment for factory phased array testing.
• Integrate new equipment and programs in a state-of-the-art facility.
• Test software and equipment for phased array testing.
• Develop software to automate tests and analyze data.
• Troubleshoot RF issues during advanced antenna testing.
• Support technicians with troubleshooting and training.
• Analyze test data and identify early trends.
• Support meetings to develop root cause and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with design engineering to improve hardware and testing.
• Maintain cost, schedule and quality adherence to policies.
