Job summary

Echodyne seeks a Sr Manufacturing Test Development Engineer in Kirkland, WA to design, build, and optimize production test systems ensuring high quality and efficiency for radar manufacturing. You will collaborate with design, quality, IT and production teams to scale manufacturing capabilities.

Responsibilities include defining test requirements, developing hardware and software, evaluating new processes, and training staff.

Qualifications

• BS in electrical, electronic, mechanical, test engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in a Test Engineering role developing manufacturing test solutions.
• Proficiency with RF/microwave measurement methods and instruments.

Responsibilities

• Define radar manufacturing test requirements and test station design requirements.
• Design, implement, and maintain test hardware and software for the production line.
• Support test systems throughout the full lifecycle of development, implementation, scaling, and refinement.
• Work with manufacturing, software, quality, design, and IT to integrate and support test systems.
• Plan and execute evaluations of new or updated test processes to ensure accuracy and repeatability.
• Select, evaluate and integrate test instrumentation.
• Monitor and analyze test data to drive continuous improvement in yield, throughput, and quality.
• Create documentation and provide training to production staff on test procedures and tools.
• Work with contract manufacturer partners to create, implement, and support test processes.
• Optimize test strategy for efficacy, efficiency and return of investment.
