Job summary

Echodyne is seeking a Manufacturing Test Development Manager in Kirkland, WA to lead a team of test engineers and technicians. The role focuses on designing and developing manufacturing test solutions to ensure radar products meet quality standards and design specs.

You will collaborate with design, systems, and software teams, manage external test partners, and drive continuous improvement of test processes and PCBA validation.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in electrical, electronic, or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years leading test engineering teams in electronics manufacturing.
• 5+ years designing and fabricating custom test systems.
• Experience with RF/microwave measurement instruments.
• Experience managing contract manufacturers for PCBA/electronic assemblies.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of PCBA and PCB fabrication for RF/high-speed boards.

Responsibilities

• Manage a staff of test engineers and technicians to support production test systems.
• Collaborate with design, systems and software teams to define test coverage ensuring product quality and production efficiency.
• Design, develop and release new manufacturing test processes and test systems (software, hardware, data infrastructure).
• Collaborate with third-party test integration companies to develop solutions.
• Develop DFT guidelines to inform radar designs.
