Job summary

Echodyne is seeking a Sr Manufacturing Test Development Engineer to design, build, and optimize production test systems ensuring product quality and efficiency. You will lead the development of new test hardware and software, collaborating closely with design, quality, IT and production teams to scale manufacturing capabilities.

The role requires deep RF/microwave expertise, Python programming, and a track record of deploying automated test solutions in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• BS in electrical, electronic, mechanical, test engineering or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in a Test Engineering role developing manufacturing test solutions.
• Experience with RF/microwave measurement methods and instruments and automated test systems.

Responsibilities

• Define radar manufacturing test requirements and test station design requirements.
• Design, implement, and maintain test hardware and software for the production line.
• Support test systems throughout development, implementation, scaling, and refinement.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, software, quality, design, and IT teams to integrate test systems.
• Plan and evaluate new or updated test processes for accuracy and repeatability.
• Select and integrate test instrumentation.
• Monitor test data to drive yield, throughput, and quality improvements.
• Create documentation and train production staff on test procedures and tools.
• Coordinate with contract manufacturers to develop and support test processes.
