Rajant Corporation in Malvern, PA is seeking a skilled PCB Design Engineer with 5–10 years of RF, high-speed, and mixed-signal PCB design experience to join our hardware engineering team in Malvern, PA. Lead complex multilayer designs and collaborate across electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong signal integrity knowledge and hands-on experience with Altium, Cadence Allegro, or OrCAD, plus DFM/DFT and EMI/EMC awareness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years of PCB layout & design experience, RF/high-frequency.
• Proficiency in PCB CAD tools: Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or OrCAD.
• Strong RF layout techniques, including controlled impedance routing, vias, ground planes.
• DFM/DFT experience; IPC-2221 and IPC-A-600 knowledge.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design RF, analog, and high-speed digital PCBs.
• Translate schematics to optimized layouts with RF/SI focus.
• Perform component placement and controlled impedance routing.
• Generate fabrication and assembly documentation.
• Support prototyping and board bring-up with test equipment.
• Collaborate with suppliers and contract manufacturers.
• Participate in design reviews and RF validation.
• Maintain RF component models and footprints.
