Job summary

Green Key Resources is seeking an experienced PCB Design Engineer in Germantown, MD to support development and layout of complex printed circuit boards. The candidate will work on high-speed digital and RF designs, with a strong focus on IPC standards and manufacturing requirements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of PCB layout/design experience.
• Proficient with Cadence Allegro PCB Designer/Editor.
• Experience with multilayer boards and controlled impedance.
• Familiarity with IPC standards and PCB fabrication/assembly.

Responsibilities

• Develop PCB layouts from schematics, netlists and requirements with minimal supervision.
• Place components and route traces for complex multilayer boards.
• Design high-density, controlled impedance, high-speed and RF layouts.
• Apply best practices for signal integrity, power integrity, EMI mitigation, grounding and thermal aspects.
• Generate fabrication and assembly documentation packages.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical and manufacturing teams to solve design challenges.
• Coordinate with PCB fabrication/assembly vendors on technical questions and production needs.
• Support DFM and DFT reviews and implement design feedback.
