Job summary

MACOM in Morrisville, NC is seeking an experienced PCB Design Engineer to join our firmware-driven hardware team. You will collaborate with electrical engineers to integrate RF and mixed-signal designs into high-quality PCBs, develop CAD layouts, and manage BOMs from concept to release.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in PCB design and layout.
• Familiarity with RF power pallet and amplifier design techniques.
• Knowledge of product data management systems, with preference for Agile.
• Attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with electrical engineers to integrate mixed-signal/RF designs into PCBs.
• Complete CAD layouts including floor planning, placement, schematics, and BOMs.
• Produce artwork files, fabrication/assembly drawings, and design-release documents.
• Support PCB integration and manufacturability with cross-functional teams.
• Apply DFM/ DFA guidelines and perform DRC checks to ensure layout compliance.
