Job summary

Apex Systems in Smyrna, GA seeks two electronic hardware engineers to lead hardware development from concept to deployment for RF, radar, communications, and avionics. You will design, test, and integrate mixed-signal hardware and mentor junior engineers in a fast-paced environment.

Strong hands-on PCB layout, high-frequency design, and lab testing are required; Altium is preferred. A degree in EE or related, with 5+ years experience; MS or PhD are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical/Mechanical/ Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or related STEM field.
• 5+ years with Bachelor's, 3+ years with Master's, or PhD with relevant research.
• PCB layout, analog/digital circuit design, and board-level development knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical requirements for RF, analog, or digital hardware systems.
• Perform circuit design, schematic capture, and board layout for submodules.
• Document hardware designs, testing protocols, and operation theory.
• Conduct laboratory testing, validation, and debugging of hardware.
• Integrate modules with larger embedded systems and contribute to proposals.
