Job summary

Software Placement Group is seeking an RF Analog Design Engineer in Huntsville, AL to develop advanced RF and mixed-signal hardware powering radar, EW, and communication platforms. You will collaborate with FPGA, PCB, embedded software, and systems engineers to deliver RF solutions for mission-critical applications.

The role involves designing RF front-end architectures, selecting high-speed ADCs/DACs, clocking and power systems, and hands-on lab work with RF test equipment. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of EE or related field or equivalent experience.
• Expertise in complete RF and mixed-signal signal chains.
• Experience from system architecture to production.
• Strong RF theory: filtering, impedance, noise, grounding.
• Experience selecting high-speed ADCs/DACs from TI/Analog Devices.
• Experience up to 18 GHz.
• US citizenship or green card.
• Board-to-board timing and RFSoC experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Design RF front-end architectures for high-performance embedded products.
• Design RF paths, low-noise analog circuitry, clocks, and power.
• Collaborate with FPGA, PCB, and embedded software teams.
• Own work from concept to validation and production.
• Resolve signal integrity challenges and optimize layouts.
• Select and integrate high-speed ADCs/DACs from major vendors.
• Design programmable clock generation and distribution systems.
• Design low-noise power supplies for mixed-signal RF systems.
• Hands-on lab work with RF test equipment.
• Work with PCB layout engineers to optimize manufacturability.
