Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior RF/Analog/Digital Circuit Engineer in the Atlanta area to develop requirements for RF, analog and digital systems and lead submodule design activities.

You will perform circuit design, simulations, schematic capture, and PCB layout with Altium, conduct lab testing, and document hardware theory of operation. The role also involves leading small teams and contributing to technical reports, papers and competitive proposals; a secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Requires 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
• Experience with PCB layout and Altium Designer for board design.
• Knowledge of embedded systems design best practices.
• Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit analysis and synthesis.
• Experience with object-oriented software design, implementation, testing and troubleshooting.
• Must have Active Secret Clearance.
• Experience with lab test equipment such as logic analyzers, multimeters, oscilloscopes.
• Experience with ADCs and DACs.
• Experience with mixed-domain RF, digital and analog circuit boards.
• Experience with DDR4 memory and multi-gigabit RF speeds.

Responsibilities

• Develop requirements for RF, analog or digital systems
• Perform complex RF, analog or digital circuit design
• Perform circuit simulation, schematic capture, and board layout for submodules of a platform design
• Generate documentation of hardware design and theory of operation
• Conduct and supervise lab testing activities
• Integrate modules with other system components
• Provide significant contributions to technical reports and presentations
• Lead small teams performing RF, analog or digital circuit design
• Provide significant contributions to white papers, and competitive proposals
