Farcast Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and development of high‑density electronics for next‑ generation phased array antennas used in satellite communications.

The role spans circuit design, schematic capture, PCB layout, bring‑up, validation, and production. You may focus on RF, mixed‑signal, digital, or power electronics and collaborate with RF, systems, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to deliver reliable hardware from concept through production.

Formación

• 5+ years hands-on experience in electrical hardware design.
• Experience with schematic capture and high-density PCB layout using Altium, OrCAD, Allegro, or similar.
• Expertise in RF, mixed-signal, digital, or power electronics.
• Strong understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, transmission lines, impedance matching.
• Hands-on experience with testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and power supplies.
• Experience releasing complex PCBA into production with DFM/DFT.
• Ability to own complex hardware designs and collaborate across engineering teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design of RF, mixed‑signal, digital, and power electronics, including schematic capture and high‑density PCB layout, depending on areas of expertise.
• Drive system architecture and component selection decisions, balancing electrical performance, signal and power integrity, thermal constraints, manufacturability, and cost.
• Own the full PCB/PCBA development cycle, from initial design and prototyping through fabrication, assembly, bring‑up, validation, and production release.
• Develop and execute comprehensive hardware test and verification plans, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure design reliability and performance.
• Work closely with RF, systems, mechanical, software, and manufacturing engineers to resolve integration challenges and optimize system‑level performance.
• Lead technical coordination with PCB fabrication and assembly partners, ensuring DFM/DFT compliance, manufacturing readiness, and resolution of production issues.
