Job summary

Farcast is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in the United States to lead the design and development of high-density electronics for next-generation phased array antennas used in satellite communications. The role spans circuit design, schematic capture, PCB layout, bring-up, validation, and production with focus on RF, mixed-signal, digital, or power electronics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on electrical hardware design experience.
• Expertise in schematic capture and high-density PCB layout using Altium, OrCAD, Allegro or similar.
• Experience in RF, mixed-signal, digital, or power electronics.
• Strong understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, and PCB design principles.
• Experience releasing PCBAs into production with DFM/DFT.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of RF, mixed-signal, digital, and power electronics.
• Drive system architecture and component selection balancing performance and cost.
• Own full PCB/PCBA development cycle from design to production.
• Develop hardware test and verification plans and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with RF, systems, mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams to resolve integration challenges.
• Coordinate with PCB fabrication and assembly partners ensuring DFM/DFT and manufacturing readiness.
