Job summary

Kforce is actively seeking a Mid-Level or Senior RF Hardware Design Engineer in Orem, UT, to lead design efforts across RF/microwave and related hardware domains. This role emphasizes solving complex RF challenges and delivering high-performance hardware systems in a fast-paced engineering environment.

You will work with systems, electrical, mechanical, and software teams, translate requirements into hardware specs, and drive improvements from concept through production.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related field.
• 3-7+ years of RF hardware development experience at the product level or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of hardware systems across RF/microwave, low-noise analog, power systems, FPGA hardware, and embedded GPU platforms.
• Evaluate tradeoffs between RF hardware and signal processing to optimize system performance.
• Translate system-level requirements into hardware and software specifications.
• Assess feasibility across technical, cost, and schedule constraints.
• Partner cross-functional teams from concept through production.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware issues and drive design improvements.
• Collaborate with product teams to ensure performance aligns with real-world needs.
