Kforce has a client in Orem, UT seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Radar Systems Engineer to support development, testing, and scaling of advanced radar systems. The role offers hybrid remote work and a competitive compensation package including base salary and equity.

The successful candidate will have hands-on radar experience in signal processing, verification & validation, and system-level engineering, plus strong cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in EE or related field required or strongly preferred.
• Hands-on radar experience from work or academics.
• Experience with radar data analysis and interpreting outputs/tests.
• Experience with V&V workflows is a plus.

Kforce has a client in Orem, UT that is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Radar Systems Engineer. We are working directly with the hiring manager on this exclusive search assignment. The client offers a competitive compensation package including base salary and equity. This position is Hybrid Remote. Overview: We are looking for a Junior to Mid-Level Radar Systems Engineer to support the development, testing, and scaling of advanced radar systems. This role fills a critical capability gap and will directly contribute to significant production growth. The ideal candidate should have hands-on radar systems experience either academically and/or in a work setting, particularly in signal processing, verification & validation, and system-level engineering.

Responsibilities

• Perform radar system verification and validation (V&V) efforts
• Build and execute test plans for radar systems
• Analyze radar data and evaluate system performance
• Develop and implement automation for data collection and analysis
• Identify issues early and improve overall product quality
• Support ongoing refinement of released radar products
• Interface with hardware components including antennas, RF systems, and embedded platforms
• Drive system-level improvements by challenging existing approaches
• Perform testing and system-level initiatives (not just execution)

Collaborate cross-functionally with:

• Algorithm teams
• Embedded systems engineering
• Mechanical engineering

Requirements

• BS, MS or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering or similar fields
• 1-4+ years of relevant engineering work experience; Will also consider candidates with a MS or Ph.D. who have acquired Radar experience from their academic accomplishments
• Experience working with radar systems: Development, production
• Hands-on experience with: Radar data analysis; Interpreting system outputs and test results is preferred
• Experience with testing, verification, and validation workflows is a plus
• Experience in radar signal processing either in a work setting or academically is desired
• System-level understanding of radar systems (beyond components) is a plus
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-scaling, high-impact environment

Nice To Have

• Experience with radar algorithms and/or tracker development
• Experience working across multiple engineering domains: Algorithm, embedded, and mechanical teams
• Exposure to FMCW radar systems (Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave)

Background interfacing with some of the following areas would be a plus as well:

• Antennas
• RF systems
• Embedded systems

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
