Job summary

Mach Industries in Huntington Beach, CA, is seeking a Sr. RF Firmware Engineer to develop embedded firmware for our autonomous defense radar front-end.

You will work on the DART team, crafting high-performance, bare-metal C/C++ code for resource-constrained microcontrollers and collaborating with RF hardware engineers to ensure the firmware meets mission-critical requirements. You will bring up new MCUs, configure clocks and peripherals, implement calibration and testing procedures, and write

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years embedded firmware experience for RF/microwave front-ends (radar/ RF seekers) or wireless radios (4G/5G/BLE/WiFi).
• Proficiency in bare‑metal C/C++ for memory constrained environments.

Responsibilities

• Write high-performance, bare‑metal C/C++ firmware for RF front‑end microcontrollers.
• Bring‑up new MCUs, clock/PLL configuration and low‑level peripherals (I2C, SPI, CAN, GPIO).
• Collaborate with RF hardware engineers on RF front‑end design and calibration techniques.
• Develop firmware to configure RF/microwave ICs (DDS, PLL, LNA, PA, filters) and interfaces.
• Devise RF tests to verify firmware functionality and RF performance.
