Job summary

Mach Industries in Huntington Beach, CA is seeking a Sr Embedded Software Engineer to advance RF sensing capabilities for autonomous defense platforms. You will implement low-latency embedded software for next-generation radar and counter-UAV systems, from board bring-up to production-ready code.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, CS, or EE.
• 5+ years embedded software for radar, RF sensing, signal processing, wireless or aerospace products.
• Proficiency in low level C/C++ for embedded systems with clean, well-tested code.
• Experience with RTOS or bare-metal systems in memory-constrained environments.
• Ability to read schematics and bring-up new boards and processors, including peripherals/drivers.

Responsibilities

• Build next generation counter-UAV defense systems with high reliability.
• Write high-performance, production-grade embedded C/C++ code across MCU to multi-core systems.
• Develop signal processing pipelines for radar/RF sensing with real-time performance.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers on board bring-up and HW/SW trade-offs.
• Create functional tests and validation to ensure correct software behavior and performance.
• Own software quality, reliability and documentation to support manufacturing.
