Job summary

Aeon is seeking a Senior RF Engineer to design, build, and test high‑performance active radar systems in our Austin office, with plans to move to Cedar Park in 2027. You will collaborate across engineering disciplines to ensure RF subsystems meet overall system requirements and customer needs.

The role emphasizes hands‑on design, PCB work, and testing with advanced RF tools, and offers opportunities to shape the technical roadmap while delivering impactful, fielded products.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of RF electronics design, analysis, test and troubleshooting.
• Experience with RF simulation tools Microwave Office and Ansys AEDT/HFSS.
• Experience designing PCB assemblies with Altium Designer.
• Hands‑on experience with lab instruments such as VNAs, Spectrum Analyzers, signal generators and oscillators.
• A proven track record of successfully fielding RF products to actual customers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design RF hardware from initial concept through requirements, part selection, detailed design, analysis, schematic capture & PCB layout, manufacturing, testing, and fielding of Aeon’s RF products.
• Be heavily involved in the RF technical roadmap.
• Assist with development of signal processing pipelines to process and act on radar data.
