Job summary

Aeon is seeking an experienced Senior RF Engineer to design, test, and field RF hardware for high-performance radar systems. You will work closely with other engineering disciplines to ensure systems-level compatibility and drive key RF initiatives.

The role is in-person in Austin, TX with plans to move to Cedar Park in 2027, offering a hands-on, fast-paced environment and opportunities to impact product direction and customer deployments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry experience in RF electronics design, analysis, test and troubleshooting.
• Experience with RF simulation tools such as Microwave Office and Ansys AEDT/HFSS.
• Experience designing PCB assemblies with Altium Designer.
• Hands-on experience with lab instruments such as VNAs, Spectrum Analyzers, signal generators and oscillators.
• Proven track record of fielding RF products to customers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design RF hardware from concept through parts selection, detailed design, schematic capture, PCB layout, manufacturing, testing and fielding.
• Shape and contribute to the RF technical roadmap.
• Assist with development of signal processing pipelines for radar data.
