Job summary

Nou Systems in Huntsville, AL, is seeking an RF Engineer to join the Advanced Sensing Area in person. You will lead RF, radar, sensor system design and testing to advance missile defense and space control programs, turning concepts into working prototypes from lab to field.

You will develop software in C++ and Python, perform measurements with RF test equipment, and collaborate with government customers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
• 5 years of full-time professional RF engineering experience.
• Hands-on RF lab test equipment experience and measurement techniques.
• Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or similar for analysis and automation.

Responsibilities

• Design RF systems and subsystems for R&D prototypes and allocate requirements.
• Own RF engineering tasks, validate results, and manage risk.
• Assemble and integrate RF hardware in lab, including cables and connectors.
• Plan and execute test and evaluation of prototype hardware with clear documentation.
• Develop software in C++ and Python for instrument control and data analysis.
