nou Systems, Inc. in Huntsville, AL is seeking an RF Engineer to join the Advanced Sensing Area. You will design RF systems for research prototypes, own engineering tasks end-to-end, and bring designs from concept to working hardware through lab integration and testing.

The role emphasizes hands-on lab work, development in C++ and Python, and collaboration across systems, software, mechanical, and cyber disciplines, with DoD customers and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
• 5+ years of full-time RF engineering experience.
• Hands-on RF lab experience and measurement techniques.
• Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or similar computing environments.
• Active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design RF systems and subsystems for research prototypes, allocate requirements and select architectures.
• Own RF tasks and validate results with sound engineering judgment.
• Assemble and integrate RF hardware in the lab, fabricate cables and assemblies.
• Plan and execute tests, write procedures, document methods and results.
• Develop software in C++ and Python to support hardware testing and data analysis.
