Amentum seeks a Mid-Level to Senior Electrical Engineer with RF expertise to support advanced EW systems and airborne mission equipment. You will provide technical leadership in systems engineering, fleet support, and configuration management for complex EW platforms.

The role requires deep RF knowledge, strong analytical skills, and experience supporting operational systems in fast-paced environments. Must be capable of guiding teams and delivering critical upgrades.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of electronics or RF engineering experience, preferably EW or avionics.
• Strong RF systems background, signal processing, and receiver architectures.
• Experience with systems engineering processes across the system lifecycle.
• Demonstrated experience supporting engineering investigations and change management processes.
• Familiarity with RF measurement techniques and troubleshooting complex electronic systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Clearance (US Citizenship required).

Mansioni

• Perform systems engineering and technical analysis for EW systems and subsystems, with emphasis on RF receiver suites and avionics mission equipment.
• Support Fleet Support Team (FST) tasking, including Engineering Investigations and technical troubleshooting of fielded systems.
• Develop and review Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Software Change Proposals (SCPs).
• Analyze and resolve Software Trouble Reports (STRs) in coordination with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Evaluate and implement Support Equipment changes to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Lead obsolescence management efforts, including component risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
• Conduct RF performance analysis, testing, and validation of system modifications.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems engineers to integrate upgrades and enhancements.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and briefings for stakeholders and program leadership.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
