Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Junior RF Engineer to perform RF test, evaluation, integration, and configuration assessments of US Navy warfare systems for NSWC EED. You will join a team performing RF/E3 testing, modeling, and data analysis to support test plans and technical reviews.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering/technical discipline and about one year of RF/microwave test experience, with MATLAB and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline.
• 1 year of experience in RF/microwave test and evaluation.
• Experience with MATLAB and RF modeling/simulation software.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and related Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform RF environment E3 computations, modeling, and simulation.
• Analyze EW, communications, and radar systems.
• Develop detailed test plans and participate in test readiness reviews.
• Gather, reduce, and analyze result data; publish detailed test reports.
