Job summary

PAE Government Services Inc. seeks a Mid-Level to Senior Electrical Engineer with RF/EW expertise to support airborne systems for Naval Aviation mission programs.

You will lead systems engineering, perform analysis, and guide engineering investigations and change management across complex EW platforms. Responsibilities include RF performance analysis, coordinating with hardware and software teams, developing ECPs/SCPs, mentoring junior engineers, and delivering technical documentation for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
• 8+ years of electronics or RF engineering experience, preferably EW or avionics.
• Strong RF systems, signal processing, and receiver architectures.
• Experience with system lifecycle processes and investigations.
• Familiarity with RF testing equipment and troubleshooting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to obtain US Government Secret Clearance (US Citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Perform systems engineering and technical analysis for EW RF systems and avionics equipment.
• Support Fleet Support Team tasks including investigations and troubleshooting.
• Develop and review ECPs and SCPs.
• Analyze and resolve STRs with cross-functional teams.
• Evaluate and implement changes to improve performance and maintainability.
• Lead obsolescence management with risk assessments.
• Conduct RF performance analysis, testing, and validation of modifications.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems engineers to integrate upgrades.
• Prepare technical documentation and briefings for stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers.
