Job summary

DoorDash Labs in San Francisco is seeking a Senior RF Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team developing mission-critical RF/electrical systems for unmanned platforms. You will design, validate and optimize RF hardware, and contribute across the full product lifecycle from concept through production.

You will conduct EMI/desense analysis, perform OTA tests, and mentor partner teams on mitigation strategies, using CST, HFSS and ADS to inform design decisions and ensure robust wireless

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering with RF emphasis.
• 6+ years designing and testing RF hardware for mass-produced products.
• Strong fundamentals in front-end RF design and system-level optimization.
• Experience with high-speed interfaces (MIPI CSI/DSI, PCIe, DDR).
• Proficient RF test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, VNAs).

Responsibilities

• Lead RF hardware design and validation across the product lifecycle.
• Mentor teams on EMI/EMC mitigation and debugging.
• Perform lab and OTA testing across LTE/5G/Wi‑Fi/GNSS/UWB.
• Analyze desense, shielding, grounding, and layout for interference reduction.
• Communicate design trade-offs to engineers and executives.
