Draper, an independent nonprofit R&D company in Cambridge, MA, seeks a Senior/Principal RF Engineer to lead development, integration, testing and troubleshooting of RF systems. You will tackle noise, EMI and grounding issues in transmitter/receiver circuitry and drive mitigation strategies with lab bench work and design tools.

• Includes RF design principles and hands-on lab work.
• Requires experience with noise, EMI and grounding issues in RF systems.
• Experience with RF testing tools and environment is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Provide expert level system test and troubleshooting using RF test equipment.
• Integration and test of antennas and matching networks.
• Anechoic chamber testing.
• Lead in-house and field testing of propagation and link performance.
• Drive solutions to complex problems and contribute to requirements.
• Perform analysis and modeling of RF hardware and propose design modifications.
• Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide constructive feedback.
