Job summary

ArcLight Wireless in Lawton, OK seeks an Associate Test Engineer to support RF, OTA, and EMC testing at a multi-client electromagnetic laboratory, executing tests, troubleshooting client issues, and providing technical support.

Responsibilities include developing and executing complex measurements, building automation scripts (Python, MATLAB), and coordinating with the Torrance, CA team to refine methods, while contributing to test reports and certificates.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience (B.S.) or 0–1 years (M.S.) in Test Engineering.
  • Familiar with electrical test and measurement equipment.
  • Theoretical understanding of RF, OTA, and EMC test and measurement principles.
  • Understanding of aerospace and defense testing standards including MIL-STD-461 and DO-160.
  • Experience developing automated test stands for various hardware.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Interface regularly with the larger test engineering organization in Torrance, CA to refine test methodology and measurement techniques.
  • Support the calibration and preventive maintenance schedules for all laboratory assets.

Job Description

General Description:The Associate Test Engineer position is responsible for supporting RF, OTA, and EMC testing at a multi-client electromagnetic laboratory, executing tests, troubleshooting client issues, and providing technical support. The role requires electromagnetic testing knowledge, project management skills, and strong client communication.

  • Starting compensation is based on experience.

  • Must Already be in Lawton, OK or willing to relocate at own cost

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Organized; comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident (future security clearance may berequired).
  • Education Requirements:B.S. or M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Additional Information

Compensation

The expected salary for this position is $90,000 to 100,000 per year. This range represents the minimum and maximum base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this role. Actual compensation within the range will depend on skills, experience, and qualifications.
