Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Senior Specialist, Electrical Engineer-RF to join the Rochester, NY team. You will support military communication products from pre-release to obsolescence, performing RF, analog, digital, and test analyses and coordinating across design, manufacturing, and QA to ensure successful launches.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, problem solving, and the ability to lead investigations while interfacing with multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience.
• 4+ years of RF experience.

Responsibilities

• Investigate RF/Analog, digital, and test related issues across products.
• Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting on prototypes.
• Coordinate with design, manufacturing, and supply chain to implement corrective actions.
• Lead investigations and guide junior staff in problem solving.
• Qualify alternatives or redesign circuits to mitigate component shortages.
• Interface with vendors and QA to address material discrepancies.
