Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking a Senior Software System Engineer to help develop RF signal acquisition, geolocation and analysis systems used for signal monitoring and defense applications. You will contribute to architecture, implement features, and support integration across engineering, sales and customers.

Ideal candidates bring extensive C/C++ RT software experience, DSP/RF knowledge, and strong QA/test capabilities.

Qualifications

• Extensive C/C++ software development experience (6+ years).
• Extensive DSP and math background; RF theory and practice.
• Experience in design, implementation and testing of complex realtime multithreaded software.
• Programming for Windows OS; networking and socket programming; databases and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Develop software for RF signal acquisition, geolocation and analysis systems.
• Modify software to implement improvements or new features.
• Develop and run automated QA test programs and test plans.
• Create software installation programs and product documentation updates.
• Provide technical support to other engineering groups and to marketing/sales.
