Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Baltimore seeks a Principal RF/Digital/Power Test Engineer to own testing of RF, digital and power hardware. This 4th shift role emphasizes hands-on testing, data analysis, and cross-team problem solving.

Qualified candidates will have RF theory knowledge, digital/power design experience, and be able to obtain a Secret clearance. U.S. citizenship is required and the position involves collaboration across multiple engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or STEM field with at least 5 years' experience or Master's with 3+ years.
• Experience reading specifications, schematics, and block diagrams.
• Experience with RF hardware/software and digital engineering.
• Experience with RF test equipment (oscilloscopes, power meters, spectrum analyzers).
• Ability to obtain/maintain U.S. Government Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to work 4th shift after training.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RF, digital, and power test methods and equipment.
• Troubleshoot RF/digital hardware and support FTTTy actions and yields.
• Analyze test data, identify trends, and report corrective actions.
• Collaborate with design engineering on hardware improvements.
• Support technicians and participate in program meetings.
