Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Baltimore, MD seeks a Principal RF/Digital/Power Test Engineer 3 for a 4th shift. You will design, develop, and implement testing methods for RF, digital and power hardware and analyze yields.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, supporting FTY, collaborating with design and manufacturing, and reporting root cause actions. Requires a BS or MS in EE and at least 3–5 years of relevant experience, and ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in EE with related STEM field and 5+ years of experience (or MS + 3+ years).
• Experience reading schematics, block diagrams, and specifications.
• Experience with RF hardware/software and digital engineering.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement testing methods and equipment.
• Troubleshoot RF and digital hardware.
• Support First Time Through Test Yield actions and hardware deliveries.
• Analyze test data and identify early trends.
• Collaborate with design engineering for hardware improvements.
• Support technicians with troubleshooting and training.
• Monitor yields and maintain program yield targets.
• Report yield issues and corrective actions in program meetings.
