Job summary

RTX Corporation is seeking an experienced RF Design Engineer for an onsite Huntsville role. You will design transmitters, receivers, and exciters, develop RF CCAs, and verify module performance in a lab environment.

You will work with cross‑functional teams to ensure RF systems meet stringent requirements, perform RF simulations, and support documentation and testing activities for missile programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 5+ years of relevant RF design experience.
• Experience with RF design, fabrication, testing, and RF product simulations.
• Proficiency with RF design tools: Mentor DX Designer, HFSS, SystemVue/Genesys, ADS.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of transmitters, receivers or exciters.
• Design of circuit card assemblies (CCAs) with RF or mixed signals.
• Work in a lab to characterize components and verify modules.
• Test and handle sensitive RF hardware.
• Schematic capture and RF routing.
• Collaborate with power, digital, mechanical teams on projects.
